Logistics Analyst – Samaritan’s Purse

Key Responsibilities
§ Establishes appropriate systems that stream line logistics data
§ Gathers and interprets logistics-related data (costs, performances, etc)
§ Analyze logistics data, using methods such as data mining, data modeling or cost/benefit analysis.
§ Investigates problems, finds root causes, and develop solutions.
§ Ensure all logistics – related records are regularly maintained.
§ Proactively identify gaps in information and findings, analyze, evaluate information, develop statistics and translate into information management products to facilitate decision making and demonstrate performance.

Analyze market trends, designs concept of operations, negotiates, and establishes rules and regulations and effectively executes them.
§ Identify, document and report on areas of cost savings opportunities related to logistics on an ongoing basis.
§ Provide ongoing analysis in areas such as procurement, storage, transport, vehicles, and assets inventories.
§ Produce and archive vendor vetting Watch dog reports.
§ Work together with the Senior Operations Manager in staff training, reviewing and updating in Country Operations policies and procedures, Operations planning, monitoring and Evaluation.
§ Any other duties as assigned by Senior Operations Manager or Country Director.
