Job Description / Requirements
LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Southern Luzon Hospital and Medical Center
-Performs routine tests in medical laboratory to provide data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease
-Studies blood cells their numbers and morphology using microscopic technique.
-Performs blood group type ad compatibility tests for transfusion purposes.
-Analyzes tests results and encodes findings in computer.
-To instruct all examinees/patients about proper collection of specimen such as urine, stool or sputum.
-Collects specimens (blood, urine, stool, sputum) from examinees/patients for processing.
-Conducts quantitative and qualitative chemical analyses of body fluids, for example blood urine and spinal fluid under supervision of the medical technologist.
-Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Medical Technology
with or without work experience
male or female with pleasing personality
Computer literate
