Description
As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a client’s specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
2 to 3 years proven work experience as a Web Developer.
Designing and implementing new web features and functionality
Relevant technical knowledge and experience in using necessary tools for web development like HTML, MySQL, Javascript, CSS3, JQuery, and Adobe Photoshop
Ensuring high-performance and availability in managing all technical aspects of the Content Management System and Learning Management System
Ability to formulate an effective, high quality, responsive and well branded design which will represent Speakers Institute professionally
Knowledgeable of the complete web development process including design, back-end development, and effective deployment
Can work unsupervised and have an ambition to become a team leader
Has a great work ethic and high regard to timeline, deadlines, and commitment
Contributes new ideas, techniques and feedback to Project Manager | Marketing Manager

The Web Developer must have a clear understanding of the Speakers Institute branding guidelines, can capture the DNA of how we represent the company, and has the ability to innovate and improve our digital presence through web development.
Possess a sound knowledge of the content management systems and the industry trends.
Highly conversant to discussions regarding the ‘scope of build’ with his project managers, development team, designers and especially clients.
Works with clients from the concept phase and creating and testing the site architecture by utilizing necessary web development tools to code.
Has the ability to contribute innovative ideas in improving our web systems, automation, and integration to other platforms.
Has the integrity to deliver error and bug free websites, learning management systems, eLearning projects and landing pages.
THE CORPORATE FEEL
The Web Developer should enforce a strong authority to make sure that everyone including external parties follow a brand-centered style guide of Speakers Institute. The position plays a key role in the evolution of the company’s style guide and design patterns.
Must have focus and high understanding when executing instructions from the Project, Marketing, and Leadership departments.
Present options based on your own creative idea and amend final web designs that are consistent with the design brief.
Responsible for collating all design briefs and keeping it for future reference.
Consistency and conformity in using the Speakers Institute’s communication protocols by using different methods for different levels of importance (regular meetings, written memos, emails, Zoom, Asana, Slack, Whatsapp, Messenger, Skype, Video Conferences).
Accuracy of work deliverables that directly reflects on weekly meetings, quarterly KPIs, Ad hoc hours and monthly reports.
