Job Description / Requirements
Qualifications:
– Male/Female – 25 years and above
– With at least 2 years experienced
– Preferably familiar with IMPORT/EXPORT ENTRY PROCESSING and DOCUMENTATION.
Job Requirements:
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word.
– Keep the clearing agent informed of all inbound shipments and ensures that all documentation necessary for clearing is provided
– Coordinate with suppliers to avoid any discrepancies and acceptance it as per agreed (if any).
– Coordinate with finance dept. to get the original shipping documents as per agreed within the time frame.
– Arrangement of Import and Export shipment
– Follow up for Original Shipping documents (Commercial Invoice)
– Follow up for correction/amendment of shipping documents with suppliers as per Customs
– Take care of exempted material in shipping documents
– Submission of shipping documents to clearing agent on/before arrival of shipment and/or upon receiving of original shipping documents from finance dept. &/or supplier’s end.
– Follow up with clearing agents for clearance of shipment within the free time to avoid any delay / demurrage.
– Arrangement and Preparation of advance request payment (if any)
– Upon clearance – follow up for full container delivery and Empty return to shipping terminal.
– Record and filling the relevant documents in concerned files.
