Job Description / Requirements
JOB PURPOSE:
To lead the program in the achievement of its goals and objectives by conceptualizing projects for the program and monitoring project implementation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning and Development
1. Conducts research work for the program.
2. Facilitates project planning sessions with Case workers.
3. Prepares concept paper, budget and project proposal.
4. Presents project proposal and budget to the Executive Director.

Project Implementation and Evaluation
5. Provides project requirements and technical assistance.
6. Conducts meetings with case workers for policy formulation and project updates.
7. Develops and implements monitoring and evaluation systems for the project.
8. Documents and monitors status of project implementation through field visits, progress reports, and regular communication with case workers.
9. Reviews and consolidates accomplishment reports for submission to the Executive Director.
10. Recommends action needed to address problems/issues identified during monitoring.
11. Prepares periodic project completion reports.
12. Review and evaluates implementation of the project.

Administration
13. Ensures partner’s compliance with agreed TORs.
14. Controls general and administrative expenses of the program through diligent review/ proper approval of expenses, requests for cash advance/reimbursement/liquidation, within authority limits.
15. Oversees safekeeping, protection and maintenance of the fixed assets and recommends replacement as needed.

Networking and Partnership Development
16. Helps develop, strengthen and maintain linkages with GOs, NGOs, LGUs, GAs, POs in areas of project implementation.
17. Networks with other organizations/individuals who could provide professional/technical/financial assistance to the program.
18. Represents the organization in official function and events.

Leadership and Staff Development
19. Manages the overall operation of the program and supervises team members to contribute positively toward accomplishing the program’s goals and objectives.
20. Monitors and evaluates performance of direct subordinate/s.
21. Exercises administrative control over approval of staff’s application for leaves, etc.
22. Keeps abreast on developmental opportunities for skills enhancement and training.

Others
23. Takes part in the conduct of regular Performance Appraisal.
24. Performs other duties as necessary in meeting the objectives of the program and/or as assigned by superior.
