Quality Assurance Staff – FERN

FERN, Inc. is hiring Quality Assurance Staff.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Assurance Staff is responsible for monitoring every phase of the software development process to ensure quality design. He/She should also ensure that the software adheres to the standards set by the company prior to release to the LIVE production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS MANAGEMENT
Check, monitor, and manage the efficiency of all FERN/i-fern system;
Consistently update the design specifications document of each FERN/i-fern system;
Gather requirements for enhancement and fixes.

SYSTEMS TESTING
Conduct User Acceptance testing on all system enhancements and changes to be deployed to Live environment;
Monitor Trouble Incident (TIL) and Sytem Trouble Report (STR) of the system;
Check commissions for i-fern.

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
Administer and maintain the databases of known defects (STR & TIL) and resolutions;
Collect and study information regarding new software test tools and techniques.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent;
At least 1 year experience in System Testing;
Preferably has exposure in any of the following: Accounting for Non-Accountant, Software Testing Tools and Methodologies, System Development Lifecycle, and Project Management.
