KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against tuberculosis (TB), the deadliest infectious disease in the world. KNCV is an international center of excellence for TB control that promotes effective, efficient, innovative and sustainable tuberculosis control strategies in a national and international context. Our multidisciplinary team of passionate professionals covers a broad range of expertise such as programmatic TB control, research, clinical management, social science, education, digital health, and project management.

Over the past century KNCV has made a significant contribution to the successful fight against TB in the Netherlands. KNCV raises funds from private, institutional, corporate and government donors.

Introduction to the position KNCV is looking for a Private sector Advisor for a potential five-year USAID/Philippines Tuberculosis Innovations and Health Systems Strengthening Project. In partnership with the Department of Health and other stakeholders, the project aims to implement an strategy providing innovative TB detection, prevention, and treatment efforts nationwide.

This position is subject to project award and funding. Responsibilities of the job The Private Sector Advisor will lead the activity’s engagement and partnerships with the private sector to contribute to quality TB detection and treatment outcomes. S/he will lead the review of existing private sector strategies and work closely with national stakeholders to develop and implement new strategies and pilot innovative private sector activities. S/he will advise the National TB Program and other relevant government departments to develop new programs based on international best practices and experience. S/he will also provide guidance and technical support to develop private sector governance and management tools to promote sustainability and institutionalization of interventions.

Qualifications and Experience
· Advanced degree in public health, international affairs, economics, business, or social sciences
· At least 12 years of experience developing governance and management tools and programs that support sustainability of programs with the private sector
· At least five (5) years working on private sector governance and management in countries outside of the Philippines
· Experience working with national TB programs
· Knowledge of and experience working in the field of health financing
· Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and create and maintain

effective relationships with Government personnel

· Strong organizational and management skills
· Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
