Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Meets or exceeds the targets through the establishment and effective implementation of production directions, business plans and programs.
b. Leads in the management (production and all support departments) and the development and effective implementation of SOP’s – Plans and Programs to enhance the completion of goals
c. Assist the General Manager for the over-all operations of the company.
d. Ensure that shipment objectives and deadlines are achieved on a monthly basis
e. Ensures that clients’ requirements are delivered efficiently
f. Maintains highest customer satisfaction, which in part means producing products of the highest level of quality
g. Responsible for the production management with the assistance of the production managers, supervisors and team leaders.
h. Monitors the entire production area’s cleanliness, production validation, calibration, training of production personnel, approve request for supply of materials and monitors maintenance of production records.
i. Supervises production lay-out arrangement to maximize the efficiency of production and support departments
j. Monitors production schedule according to needs of the business.
k. Ensures that all standards are adhered to according to HACCP, food standards before, during and after production.
l. Take a lead in the passing of multiple audits throughout the year
m. Performs other duties identified by the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.

Job Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• With at least 8 years’ experience in a managerial capacity in a Food Manufacturing company
• With good oral and written communication skills
• To be fluent in the process of training – training for the development and improvement of the production and the individual teams in and out of production
• Management skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Team building skills;
• Analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Decision making skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
