National Contact Point – Equal Rights Trust

About us
The Equal Rights Trust (the Trust) is an independent international organisation which exists to combat all forms of discrimination and advance equality worldwide. We have projects in more than 40 countries and we pursue our objectives through advocacy, litigation, development of resources, and movement building.
The Trust has recently launched a new multi-country project which aims to support civil society and trade unions to monitor and improve the implementation of core UN human rights and ILO labour rights conventions in nine different countries. To support the first phase of this project, the Trust is recruiting a contractor in Philippines to undertake desk-based research, assist with network-building and provide practical and strategic assistance to a fact-finding mission to take place in the first quarter of 2017.

The position is open to individuals, partnerships or organisations which are able to provide the services and meet the specification below. The position is offered as a fixed term, four-month assignment, though this is open to extension, depending on the outcome of the first phase of the project.
