Monitoring and Evaluation Officer – Samaritan’s Purse

Key Responsibilities
Work with the Program Development Officer to develop M & E plans for individual projects and grants.
Work with program managers in designing M&E systems for measuring the success of their projects.
Identify appropriate and internationally standardized performance indicators (such as CSI, HDDS, HHS, etc.) for integration into on-going monitoring activities such as PDM and FBM.
Develop and maintain an effective information database on projects, providing resource and necessary support for program inputs and outputs.
Train and assist Program Managers to implement realistic monitoring plans that capture quantitative and qualitative data for comparison against a project’s targets.
Train and/or participate in rapid or baseline assessments to inform program design.
Assist in developing data entry, storage and analysis templates for project monitoring.
Advise on analysis of project data using international tools and methodologies.
Conduct advanced statistical analysis when required.
Support Program Managers in the production of reports (quarterly, annual, final) in a timely manner to accurately reflect field level conditions and programming progress.
Conduct capacity building of staff on M & E topics to ensure compliance with donor standards.
Compile briefings on all M & E related activities as necessary to update Program Development Officer
Tracking results through progress reports against indicators in logframe, aggregating and communicating findings through reports
Quality assurance of data in project reports to ensure projects are monitoring key performance indicators and collecting data as needed by reporting requirements
Draft tools and their revisions as well as data collection procedures (eg. logical framework, project performance tracking, indicators, data flow chart, M&E manuals)
Design survey instruments for baseline surveys, endline assessments and KAP studies.
