Job Description & Requirements
As a Jr. Editor, you are responsible for the proper and successful execution, and the timely completion, of all the Social Media-related tasks assigned to you.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the Junior and Senior Writers-SMO and ensure that all deliverables are met on a timely basis.
• Editing and proofreading content used for marketing across all social media platforms. Marketing content includes but not limited to the following: Profile Updates, Group Discussions and Blog posts.
• Ensuring that the message on all posts/content created for each campaign is consistent across multiple networks.
• Editing a large amount of content quickly and efficiently.
• Maintaining high-quality standards on all posts and social media-related content.
• Conducting thorough research on different industries to be used for editing a variety of content.
• Gathering of Live URLs for SMO Work Reports and updating of the SMO documents.
• Assisting the SMO Manager in mentoring and training of SMO Writers, which includes the following:
* Providing feedback for coaching and training to Writers on a regular basis and reports all observations/evaluations to SMO Manager
* Contributing towards performance assessments of writers based on identified parameters/metrics set by the management.
• Managing all campaign records, which includes the following:
* Updating all necessary documents pertaining to campaigns
* Reporting changes and logs other information regarding any developments on the campaign.
* Reporting campaign issues to SMO Manager
• Helping the SMO Management with continuous research on and testing of the latest social media trends and tools as well as updating the superiors about your findings on a regular basis
Assisting the SMO Manager in addressing/troubleshooting issues with clients or client requests whenever necessary.
