Job Details: Basic Function:
Responsible for planning and delivery of marketing & development initiatives for assigned products globally, influencing the company’s Global Product Roadmap & Strategy (Ideation, Insight Generation, Business Valuation), planning, development and coordination of internal and external marketing communication efforts during all stages of the product lifecycle including new product launches or version releases/upgrades; vendor management; definition, optimization and implementation of relevant processes to support product offers from provisioning to billing; continual evaluation and improvement of product offers based on sales needs, industry enhancements and customer requests; assistance in coordinating internal training to support new releases while adhering to policies and procedures.
Major Job Accountabilities:
Contribute proactively to cross functional teams to drive new product development, commercial launch initiatives, management and growth of product portfolio, market development and to maintain operating effectiveness to improve profitability
Plan, develop, and coordinate the marketing efforts for assigned products during all stages of the product lifecycle
Drive product implementation/release process through cross functional teams comprising of Marketing, Product
Development, Operations, Finance, and Sales Globally
Continually evaluate and improve product offers based on sales needs, customer requests and market research
Establish and maintain a professional relationship with various vendors to ensure regional sales support and resolve local vendor issues
Proactively oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of problems related to department
Knowledge:
Understanding of the fundamentals of product management for a multinational enterprise
Adapting western-based products to Asia Pacific markets
Skills and Abilities
Strong English language skills
Excellent presentation skills (for customer meetings, internal training’s)
Strong business analytics
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Management/Communications Technology or equivalent
Experience;
Previous responsibility for directly managing a product line requiring extensive work with cross-functional teams
Previous involvement in a product launch
Multinational experience preferred
Other:
Strong Powerpoint and Excel skills
Bi/tri-lingual skills a positive, but not a pre-requisite
Amenable to work on Shifting and Night Shift and in Makati
