Deputy National Director – SOS Children’s Villages International

The Deputy National Director will hold its office at SOS Children’s Village Philippines – National Office (Muntinlupa City)**, report directly to the National Director, and work with International Director- Asia, National Board Members and National Management Team.**

Position Purpose (Mission):
• Support to the National Director in leading, managing and developing the Member Association (MA)
• Ensure implementation of strategies
• Act as a change agent
• Provide leadership to 1-2 functions as assigned

Key Performance Areas and Main Responsibilities:
• Support to the National Director in leading, managing and developing the Member Association (MA) to efficiently and effectively implement the organization’s aims, objectives and policies
• Focus on operations to ensure an overall functioning of administrative system and ensure efficient utilisation of resources so that resources are maximized and sustainability of programme is promoted
• Ensure compliance and adherence of the MA to international standards and national laws (chief compliance role with government requirements as well as Corporation Code governance and integrity practices)
• Participate in governance topics and in implementation of strategies
• Look after MA asset management
• Participate and contribute to Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM)
• Provide leadership to 1-2 functions as assigned
• Support National Director to oversee child care and alternative family/ child care, as assigned
• Ensure that brand principles are followed in the areas of work assigned.
• Support capacity building of direct reports.
• Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.Essential Values, Behaviors and Skills:

Qualification & Experience:
• Degree or equivalent qualification in organizational management/ administration or social sciences.
• At least 5 years leadership experience at a senior/executive level in an organization or a medium-size corporation.
