Job Details:
Develop internal editorial guideline and standards based on best industry practices (e.g. protocols on communications, sourcing, etc)
Coordinate monthly content planning and development (issue mapping)
Highly factor strong branding concerns (reputable, accurate, fair balance) in editorial decisions
Issue bulletins tackling day to day problems concerning writing, content development, journalism practices etc
Conduct monthly evaluation of the editorial group/immediate direct reports
Work with Site Editor/Operations Officer in aligning editorial group with overall goals
Provide advise on journalism issues and other matters

QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or Equivalent
Relevant experience in equivalent position, preferably in news print or in online publication
Strong editorial judgment and track record
Knowledgeable in AP Style
Current and informed with industry news/standard
Flexible and able to adapt to online platform (Google News)
Amenable to work from 6 AM to 2 PM (Philippine Standard Time)
