Job Description / Requirements
JOB SUMMARY:
Identifies and analyzes organizational, departmental, and individual training needs
Designs, develops, implements/delivers, and evaluates training programs aligned to the organization’s strategic goals
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conducts Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
– Identifies training needs within an organization through the administration of various assessment methods to relevant parties (i.e., survey, interview, focused group discussion or FGD, data analysis, etc.)
2. Evaluates training requests, ensuring adherence and alignment to established standards, and forwards recommendation to the Corporate Organizational Development Manager for approval
3. Creates and designs programs to address needs where training is determined as the suitable intervention
– Coordinates with training requestors and internal subject matter experts (for Competency Development Programs) for development of module design and content for internal training programs, and forwards recommendation to the – Corporate Organizational Development Manager
– Sources and recommends training suppliers/vendors/consultants for external training programs, as required
– Amends existing training programs, as necessary
4. Ensures complete and seamless delivery of training programs, including Competency Development Programs, by performing various logistical tasks
– Manages enrollment of participants in training programs
– Assists requisition and liquidation of training budget for training programs
– Coordinates with training suppliers/vendors/consultants (if any), training participants, and line managers regarding final details of training schedule (i.e., location, date, time, facilitator, etc.)
– Reproduces training materials and other documents such as notes, handouts, manuals, and exercises as necessary
– Prepares external training agreements and ensures prompt issuance/signature and notarization, as deemed appropriate
– Secures training environment and resources, ensuring that training facility/venue, equipment, and other related training resources are properly set up and maintained
5. Ensures continuous improvement of training programs by analyzing and recommending training interventions based on data gathered from training evaluation and measurement
– Summarizes data in Training Evaluation Forms and Training Effectiveness Forms and prepares relevant reports/presentations
– Identifies opportunities for improvement based on analysis of training evaluation data
– Communicates results of training evaluation to relevant parties
6. Ensures maintenance and safekeeping of training records
– Maintains the employee training profile/database
– Monitors training expenses and prepares relevant reports/presentations
7. Performs tasks that may be assigned from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent.
– At least 3 years of training working experience is REQUIRED for this position.
– Must have excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
– Has the ability to effectively deal with all levels in the organization
– Has the ability to manage multiple priorities or projects
– Proficiency in various Microsoft / Open Office applications
– Applicants must be willing to work in Pasig.
