Coordinator for Integrity PACTS – UNDP – Manila

UNDP will recruit a Coordinator to support the Country Office in ensuring effective management of implementation of the Business Integrity PACTS and in strategic and effective engagement with partners and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Coordinator will report directly to the Team Leader of Management Support and will be required to work closely with the UNDP Philippines Country Office Senior Management and Programme Teams. The work will also be closely coordinated with the Country Office’s project for Output 3 of the Regional Project, entitled “Mitigating Integrity Risks in Public Procurement in the Philippines”.
On a regular basis, s/he will also coordinate with the Regional Project Focal based in the UNDP Bangkok Regional Hub and the UK Prosperity Fund focal of the UK Embassy in Manila.
The Coordinator will work with relevant organizations and business associations such as, but not limited to the Makati Business Club, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Global Compact Network Philippines, AIM Ramon V. del Rosario Center for Corporate Responsibility and Isla Lipana & Co and other regional and local stakeholders.
The Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
Act as UNDP PH coordinator for the implementation of Integrity PACTS focusing the delivery of the following:
Provide regular updating and reporting to Senior Management and BRH;
Draft and submit quarterly and annual reports;
Monitor budget and work plan in regular basis;
Revise and update workplan as necessary

Draft the Terms of References for following:
Scoping Study on existing business integrity practices in the local value chain, particularly SME business partners of Philippine conglomerates to examine the extent, range and nature of existing business integrity practices in the local value chain, particularly SME business partners of Philippine conglomerates.
Exploratory/feasibility research on the utilization of blockchain technology in procurement/ supply management to assess the practicality of applying blockchain technology in procurement/ supply management.
Closely coordinate with co-implementer of the Integrity PACTS Makati Business Club (MBC), Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Global Compact Network Philippines, AIM Ramon V. del Rosario Center for Corporate Responsibility and Isla Lipana & Co. ) and manage partners and stakeholders.
Provide effective oversight and management to the implementation of Integrity PACTS activities and sub-activities including but not limited to the following:
Conduct of scoping study on existing business integrity practices in the local value chain, particularly SME business partners of Philippine conglomerates to examine the extent, range and nature of existing business integrity practices in the local value chain, particularly SME business partners of Philippine conglomerates.
Conduct an exploratory/feasibility research on the utilization of blockchain technology in procurement/ supply management to assess the practicality of applying bockchain technology in procurement / supply management.
Creation of business integrity / anti-corruption indicators* for SMEs and Business Partner Code of Conduct (c/o PwC and AIM)
Creation of Technical Working Group to manage and oversee implementation of the Initiative
Development and pre-testing of training module, including conduct of pilot training workshops for SME vendors/business partners

Education:
Master’s degree in development economics, business management or commerce, and/or trade and/or social and economic sciences or related fields.

Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience at the national or international level on development effectiveness or private sector in development positions.
Proven professional experience (at least 2 years) in business integrity and corporate governance practices in the Philippines
Established (at least [1] one) local network of Philippine companies and business associations
Language
Prior work experience with UNDP/UN is an advantage
