The Role:
As a Social Media executive, you will assist in the delivery, and on-going adjustment of the social media strategy as part of the wider marketing communications strategy. You will be responsible for maintaining timely, high quality communications with consumers via branded social media platforms, exploring new social media channels and their marketing potential, keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and areas for competitive advantage, monitoring brand sentiment online, pro-actively communicating with potential and existing customers in social spaces and reporting findings in a timing manner to marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
-Working closely with the Global Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate will:
-Co-ordinate and post communications on our social media platforms
-Demonstrate first class community management skills and facilitate interaction with users
-Maintain, improve and pro-actively engage with our customers
-Stay up to date with internet culture; analysing the latest trends
-Compile regular performance & competitor reports, also known as Social Listening
-Perform Social data analysis and insight gathering
-Listens closely to our consumer opinion online
-Maintain and preserve the brand online presence
-Create and maintain a weekly sentiment summary of the online buzz
-Generate unique ideas and initiatives that generate user engagement
Candidate Profile:
-Demonstrable experience working directly in social media
-Strong knowledge and passion for all things social and digital
-Superb written communication skills
-Educated to degree level with a marketing or business qualification desirable
-Knowledge and desire to build audiences within various Social Media channels
-6 months to 1 year working experience, contributing and/or managing social media feeds
-Excellent social communication skills, including customer service skills
-Expertise working across multiple social media channels
-A desire to keep up-to-date with social changes and digital technology
-Working experience with social influencers, or experience with managing successfully personal social profiles
-Preferable a working experience in the financial service and/or banking sector.
