Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities:
– Execute quality assurance activities following Agile methodology and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) principles
– Participate in the planning process and understand the Acceptance Criteria
– Develop and maintain manual and automated test scripts and test cases
– Ensure the scalability, maintainability, and robustness of the test suite
– Carry out exploratory testing and track defects to closure
– Understand the difference in mobile platforms to determine test approach
– Flag quality deficiencies and assist with critical support issues
– Work with a global team and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications:
– Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), or equivalent
– Minimum of 3 years experience as a Test Engineer is required
– Experience in a BPO or shared service environment is required
– ISTQB Foundation Level certification is highly preferred
– Knowledge of the following:
• Front-end and back-end software testing
• Programming languages (desirable: Java)
• Test Management tools/frameworks/platforms (desirable: JIRA, Selenium, PractiTest)
• Mobile testing platforms
• Quality assurance
– Understanding of the following software development strategies:
• Agile
• Behaviour Driven Development
• Test-Driven Development
– Must be able to produce high quality documentation
– Must have excellent English communication skills
– Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City on a mid-shift schedule
