This is for direct hire and regular employment for an IT Solutions company
Regular Tasks:
Essential Functions:
• Unit and regression testing
• Requirements elaboration and analysis
• Adhere to a structured development environment
• Work estimation and personal time/schedule management
• Debug and maintenance of existing code
• Participation in team meetings and collaborative efforts
• Seek and utilize support and coaching from others
• Source Code Control utilization
Secondary Functions:
• Staying abreast of the latest developments in application development and technologies
• Develop technical solutions for a defined project
• Consistent time tracking and entry
• Status reporting and escalation of issues/concerns
Qualifications:
• BS Computer Science or equivalent
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• 0-1 year of experience in the related field
• Familiar with Object Oriented programming languages (such as: C#, VB.Net)
• Familiar with Internet application programming (such as D/HTML. Javascript, ASP.NET)
• Working knowledge of RDBMS: MS SQL Server and/or Oracle
• Understanding of methodologies: UML, OOAD, Unified Process, XP, Patterns
• Experience with Windows 2003, XP, Vista
• Familiarity with toolsets:
o IDE: Visual Studio
o Source Code Control: Visual Source Safe
• Working knowledge of Source Code Control tools
• Ability to act independently on low complexity assignments
• Ability to produce quality code on schedule
• Ability to identify and solve problems of low to moderate complexity
• Ability to work in a team environment
Skills Required:
• Excellent technical skills, with very keen interest in IT
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Can work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimum supervision
• A team player and fast learner
• Capable of multi-tasking
