Network Support Engineer – Makati City – IP Converge Data Services Inc

Job Description & Requirements
Network support operations
•Provide support via phone, email and on-site
•Monitors customers and IP Converge core network to ensure the availability of services.
•Knowledgeable in NOC monitoring and alerting tools and act on any service outage/abnormalities
•Installation and configuration of routers and switches
•Capable in handling and isolating network problem.
• Provide support to the group for every task.
•Provide remote hand support to customers
• Coordinate with carrier and network service provider for immediate solution.
•Provide security for all the information within the office.
•Be aware of the IT Security Policies and Procedures within the practice relating to the use of network equipment, computer equipment and information.
•and Service providers and leverage on respective expertise in building a ‘state of the art’ network

1.Complies with all ISO standards and policies
2.Complies with all quality and information security policies as well as company policies as stated in the Employee handbook.

Requirements
•Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Engineering or Electronic and Communications Engineering or any related course
•Minimum of 1 year experience specializing in IT/Computer or fresh graduate
•Cisco Certified (CCNA) a definitive advantage but not required
•Able to configure and troubleshoot network devices such as Cisco and Juniper routers
•1 year experience with network monitoring tools Preferably from ISP, Data Center , network provider, gaming or e-commerce industries
