Job Description / Requirements
The Web Project Manager will work closely with the Website Services Project Management team to understand project goals and requirements. They will help in planning, monitoring, and managing projects from initiation through to completion. The Project Manager will utilizes resource, and will use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes. They will manage projects to ensure it meets the business requirements, internal or external stakeholders are satisfied, and it meets the project plans obligations regarding specifications, quality, costs, and timeframes.
Plans, monitors and administers mid/large-scale projects to ensure client/internal customer satisfaction.
Provides knowledge and technical support for internal and external clients, when required.
Organizes and utilizes resources and coordinates effectively with stakeholders and colleagues.
Determines project costs and timeline based on scoped work.
Create sales proposals for mid/large scale projects.
Coordinates and assigns development resources based on availability.
Reviews and analyzes project setbacks to provide resolution.
Meets the project plans obligations regarding specifications, quality, costs, and timeframes.
Meets project deadlines through developing effective relationships in order to get things done.
Utilizes project management methodology when managing projects.
Works under limited supervision to manage projects around systems integration, or product development enhancements.
Responsibilities:
Education Required: Degree qualified in Computer Science, or other related discipline, or equivalent work experience
Experience Required: At least six (6) years
Strong understanding of modern web technologies
Experience writing front-end code
Exposure and understanding of the design process
Exposure and understanding of online content management systems
Understanding of Web Standards (W3C), Website Accessibility and Search Engine Optimization
Able to work within a project-driven setting
Strong attention to detail
Analytical thinker and strong problem solving skills
Comfortable working in a team environment
Able to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
Willing to work on U.S. business hours
Special Qualifications: Certification and effectiveness in desktop project management tools including Excel and certification in Project Management administration tools such as Gantt charts, etc.

Monitors performance and deliverables of individuals on the project team to ensure overall project success; actively keeps all members of the project team informed of progress.
Recognizes the controls that mitigate the risk of negative outcomes through prevention or detection and correction; evaluates and quantifies the impact risk has on the business or its customers.
