Job Description & Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support on hardware and software through remote access via internet connection
2. Set up and maintain user’s accounts, profiles and passwords
3. Design, code and modify websites including layout, relational database structures and functions
4. Create and refine graphics, animations and videos for presentations
5. Conduct software training to clients as well as internal staff
6. Communicate directly with peers, managers and clients for meetings or training
7. Keep up to date with new software development skills
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, or other related fields.
2. Excellent communication in English
3. Willing to work night shift conforming to US time zone, Monday to Friday from 830 pm to 530 am.
Preferred skills:
1. Familiar on cross-browser compatibility and general web applications and functions
2. Knowledge on:
A. Web services (WordPress, etc.)
B. Programming languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript, API’s, Php, Perl, etc.)
C. Database systems (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, etc.)
D. Applications (Photoshop, Fireworks, etc.)
E. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
3. Understanding of legal requirements such as patency, freedom of information and privacy
4. 1-2 years experience in web developing and IT support (plus but not required).
