Job Description / Requirements
Primary Responsibilities
•Preparation, development and implementation of B2B Search Engine Marketing strategies in close collaboration with SGS business units to promote SGS business-related web pages, and websites, and to increase traffic and generate business leads through SEO, and other internet marketing techniques
•Give technical and business inputs to the SGS.COM Geneva Team in terms of streamlining business and web processes, and updating methodologies
•Give technical and business inputs to the SGS.COM Technical Development Team in terms of software application performance and continuous improvements.
Specific Responsibilities
Primary Tasks and Duties
•Be proactive with the SGS business units to develop SEO strategies for their respective web sites (includes helping them understand the need for SEO, PPC, Social Media, etc., development of detailed proposals, follow-up, etc.)
•Prepare, deliver, implement, manage and monitor SEO campaign (keywords strategies, link building strategies and content optimisation) and Social Media campaign proposals for the web sites of the SGS business units
•Performs Website Audit to ensure that all that all strategies and campaigns (for SGS.Com corporate and SGS business units’ web pages/websites) are compliant to Search Engine Rules, Guidelines and Best Practices, SGS’s Publication Standards and Web Usability Guidelines
•Collaborate with the Web Content Publishers’ team in Manila for the implementation of optimisation recommendations (copy) on the websites, and coordination and implementation of SGS business units’ requests (includes assessment of templates)
•Work in partnership with the Paid Search Specialists on paid search optimisation
•Provide web analytics reports and analysis using Web Trends to the SGS business units on request
•Updates/creates SEO-related components of a web page/website (e.g. meta tags, meta description, alt tags) using the Content Management Systems (Livelink, Adobe Contribute)
•Optimises technical properties of PDF documents using PDF Creator
•Manages (e.g. template fill-out, database clean-up and management, checks test dispatch) and monitors the implementation of email marketing campaigns of the SGS business units in partnership with the Web Content Publishers’ team
•Performs testing and analysis on new web applications and Social Media tools
•Contribute to the development of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) best practices and work processes for the teams
•Assist in the maintenance of the Quality Management System
Profile
•At least 2 years experience related to e-Marketing (preferably SEO – keyword research, link building, page optimisation and web analytics reporting) required; B2B experience an advantage.
•University graduate in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Information Technology, Computer Science, Social Sciences
•Solid knowledge on SEO and Web Analytic Tools
•IT literate with extensive experience in internet
