Job Description / Requirements
Work Location: Makati City
Work Responsibility:
Someone with experience in SSCM, Software Packaging, PowerShell Scripting, Active Directory, Antivirus, Microsoft WSUS.
The Remote Support Engineer is responsible for providing 2st line support to external customers and internal staff, assisting them with server, application, desktop, networking and hardware problems and standard change requests via phone, email, fax, instant messaging and ITSM tool. Interact with Service Desk and act as a point of contact for escalation to 3rd level Support Engineers. The RSE, after having been trained on the job, will be able to work with a certain level of autonomy.
Accountable for the accomplishment of following tasks:
· Provide remote assistance during the installation/replace of equipment for the end-users (computer, laptop, printer, telephone or any IT devices in general related to an end-user)
· Solving assigned problems and escalates to other level in appropriate team if this is not possible from his level of competencies and/or he doesn’t have the proper level of administrative rights.
· Following and closing out the calls opened trough the service management software.
· Documentation of incidents for inclusion and updates within the internal knowledgebase.
· Reporting to the Remote Support team leader and producing monthly reports on demand. · Liaise with third party suppliers to report and escalate customer problems.
· Perform administrative tasks in Active Directory, Antivirus, Microsoft WSUS and SCCM.
· Perform administrative task on the Inventory tool (client and server side).
· Participate to IT related projects under the supervision of the manager or project manager
Work Other Qualification:
Knowledge and skills
· Good knowledge and expertise with IT systems and service desk / support environment.
· Good knowledge of MS desktop and server platforms with SCCM foundations.
· Basic skills on network.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Flexibility in working hours and shift rotation when necessary.
· Willingness to develop further by attending regular trainings.
· Fluent in English (spoken & written) is mandatory.
· ITIL knowledge will be considered a strong asset.
