JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Artist is responsible for the production of print ready packaging artwork using desktop software applications to meet our client’s packaging requirements.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Production Artist
• Understand the Company’s Production processes and Client expectations by reading and comprehending all available and related account SOP’s and watching training videos.
• Review and understand job ticket instructions to determine the requirements of job production.
• Execute job ticket instructions and specifications using appropriate software applications (e.g. illustrator, Photoshop) and reference materials for production.
• Proof digital files by using printers and other tools such as ESKO Pilot, Remote Approval in order to combat possible errors in the job.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of all jobs by checking all work performed follows established account specific and SOP’s.
• Ensure that all job ticket instructions are followed prior to passing to QC department.
• Update team leads regarding job status to facilitate proper monitoring of all jobs.
• When handing off jobs to co-workers, clearly communicate any information for them to complete the job.
• Participate in planning meetings when necessary.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
• College Graduate.
• 2 years experience in retail packaging design and production art.
• A high degree of fluency in English – both spoken and written.
• Working knowledge in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Working knowledge in MAC environment.
