Job Description / Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Gathers data and assists in preparing reports.
• Contributes to unit goals by accomplishing related duties as required.
• Processes, often utilizing computer technology, the day-to-day clerical works.
• Keeping or processing duties of a particular area or function.
• Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
• Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
• Assist personnel of other departments as a computer resource.
• Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading.
• Software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
• Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Experience:
• Knowledge of basic computer hardware.
• Experience with desktop operating systems including Windows, Linux and Microsoft Office.
• Extensive application support experience.
• Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
• Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
