Summary of Responsibilities
Develop relational concepts and design layout that can be used on any type of server and viewed with any type of browser to ensure online interfaces and navigation are user-friendly as well as reliable;
Takes product insights an business needs and translates them into elegant and efficient user experiences
Takes into account browser/server compatibility issue, handles cross browser compatibility issue
Ensures designs look the same in Photoshop and in browser
Provides design to the systems development manager based on the project brief;
Constantly advocates for the best customer experience possible while balancing design and business objective
Develops clean and valid markup;
Solves challenging issues to understand what features the users want before they ask it
Contributes to the tracking and resolution of bugs and recommends corrective action;
Provides status report, keep team informed of issues and status for work planned and completed;
Creates world class customer experience and beautiful visuals that support brand, and business objectives across all platforms.

Qualifications
Proficiency in RDBMS (Relational Database Mgt. System) and Object Oriented design and Java programming
Technical proficiency in HTML, Classic ASP, ASP.NET, Flash, CSS, XML, SQL, etc.
Passion for UI performance debugging and benchmarking
Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components
Proficiency in web development including data/process modeling, form/report design, and control procedures
