APPLICATIONS JAVA DEVELOPER / PROGRAMMER
KEY OBJECTIVES
• Develop and enhance company’s software applications through coding and testing
• Maintain company’s software applications by resolving bugs and errors within set time frame

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create functional and technical design specifications
• Conduct code review of programs written by peers
• Translate design specifications into high quality working code within allocated budget and time frame
• Perform unit and system integration testing
• Resolve bugs and errors identified during all phases of testing
• Resolve service requests raised by users according to defined processes and within set timeframe
• Ensure quality of deliverables by adhering to company standards

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science or its equivalent
• Minimum of three (3) years work experience as a software developer
• Minimum of two (2) years work experience in Java/J2EE development
• Knowledgeable on software development lifecycle and methodology
• Knowledgeable on object-oriented design and development
• Good understanding of relational database design
• Good SQL skill with experience in developing RDBMS applications
• Experience in any of the following is a plus: Delphi, PHP, Spring Framework, HTML, JavaScript, Hibernate and MySQL.
