We are currently in need of a PROGRAM MANAGER | Accounts/Program Management Group
Duties and Responsibilities
• Plans and implements corporate communication plan for assigned accounts/clients.
• Manages the account/client requirements by day-to-day communication, meetings, coordinations, among other tasks.
• Secures approvals of press releases, projects, costings, among other actions from agency Department Heads before forwarding to client.
• Oversees the agency team (writers, media relations, monitoring) to effectively carry out the needs of an account/client’s communication plan:
1. Editorial Service – submits the Job Order (JO), or brief for the writers for effective drafting of communication materials (press release, news release, etc.)
2. Media Relations – submits the Job Order and news article for release to the media to the Media Relations department.
3. Monitoring – reports to client the pickups or related news/mentions daily via email (case to case basis)
4. Finance – submits cost estimates/budgeting to admin/finance persons for checking
• Participates actively in conceptualizing/strategizing an effective communication plan for the account/client.
• Proposes ideas/initiatives/strategies/events (projects, events, CSR programs etc) to meet communication objectives of the account/client.
• Regularly updates agency team/clients on related industry news/developments or crisis.
• Ensures the account/client’s communication plan is implemented effectively and on time, discusses/handles crisis issues with the team as appropriate.
• Coordinates with the Finance person on regular billings submitted to the account/client for timely collection.
• Ensures payments from account/client are collected regularly.
• Acts as the contact person of account/client for coordinations with third-party suppliers, NGOs and other partners sourced by CID for projects with the account/client.
• Overseas the financial aspects of the account, particularly budget control, payment of suppliers and documentation of expenses.
• Manages events/logistics for account/clients as needed.
Qualifications
• Degree in PR, journalism or communications
• Knowledge of PR concepts, strategy, practice and procedures
• Excellent professional oral and written communication skills
• Critical thinking, creative and problem-solving abilities
• Desire to pursue learning and self-development
• Attentive to details and quality
• Highly organized, multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Microsoft Office proficiency
