Type of Position: Full time – on a contractual basis
Description of the role: The person in this role will initiate the development of city based networks for entrepreneurship development. These networks would comprise of Academic networks for student and student entrepreneur engagement; Entrepreneur network for engaging early and growth stage entrepreneurs; Mentor network for engaging mentors with entrepreneurs; and Investor networks for engaging investors with entrepreneurs. The intent is to build these in an integrated manner at the city level starting with Manila. Eventually, do this across the top 5-7 cities across the country. The goal is to help start new companies and to support existing companies to grow.
Looking for Network Manager, with strong leadership, initiative and confidence to forge alliances with heads of local organizations, to systematically engage and manage individuals in programs and platforms; to track engagement and progress of these individuals and to report impact.
In doing all this, the person would be able to tap into the vast experience, content, resources and programs across the world.

Responsibilities in the role
 Initiate, build and manage key stakeholder accounts and relationships
o Identify, and bring on board new members to the network
o Scope their development needs and match relevant resources to them o Ensure that the members stay engaged
 Manage programs from end to end for different beneficiaries
o Scope the nature and level of need of the members of the network
o Help the secretariat leaders to design relevant programs for its members
o Coordinate and manage the execution of the programs at a high degree of quality
 Consult and hand-holding management and faculty for capacity building of Academic Institutions (on-campus programs and activities)
o content, methodology and training programs etc. guide the development of the right combination of programs at the academic institutional partners to help support student entrepreneurship
o Capture both output and outcomes from these programs with the use of technology systems
o Assist global team in data analysis and reporting progress and outcomes  Support localization of content for platforms and engagement of local experts
o Build a volunteer pool of entrepreneurs, investors and professionals willing to work with new and growing start-ups and students
o Engage them through sessions on the ground
o Additionally engage them in short video based learning nuggets
 Support strategy, planning and budgeting for the network programs in Philippines
o As the team member becomes more experienced, facile and knowledgeable in the local network building, contribute to the overall strategy for the global work and the Network in Philippines
o Ensure that the network activities are integrated with the existing programs in the eco-system for highest leverage

Desired skills
Successfully managed complex customer relationships, with several points of contact
 Able to understand and articulate highly conceptual value propositions to individuals and groups
 Successfully handled situations that have required the ability to diagnose (understand problem areas, needs and strengths), strategize, recommend a set of solutions, and support the implementation of the solutions
 Who can work independently and can develop things from scratch. Highly organized and systematic
 Exposure to the start-up world & knowledge of Entrepreneurship is desirable
 Developed and executed annual plans and budgets
 Able to work with equal ease with individuals at different levels of an organization
example – Directors or Deans of academic institutions, Faculty members and Student
committee heads
 Excellent written and oral communication skills
 A strong sense of ownership

Expected qualifications and Experience
A business or engineering graduate/post graduate with 12-14 years of work experience in well recognized organizations. Ideally experience could range in business consulting, sales/marketing, business development or running a new division or new organization. Exposure to academic environment and knowledge in entrepreneurship would be an added advantage
Compensation: CTC depending on ability, maturity and level of experience – comparable to industry standards
