Work Location: Makati City

Work Responsibility:
The Tax Senior Technical Researcher supports the Technical Manager in responding to queries related to revenue regulations, circular memos and other relevant literature.
He also assists the Technical Manager in addressing the professional development requirements of the Tax Advisory and Compliance Division staff members.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct research on applicable tax provisions, regulations or rulings in response to issues raised or noted by any Tax personnel
Develop and sustain excellent relationships during delivery of research and development services
Assist Technical Manager with the delivery of engagements as needed, including research and writing with regard to technical issues
Coordinate training requirements with Knowledge Management Unit for professional development programs of Tax personnel
Provide research and development quality assurance, engagement reviewer and exam support

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Communication Research, Political Science, Philosophy
At least four years of relevant work experience in policy-making and research in the Department of Finance, government agencies, or private institutions
Excellent communication, interpersonal and report writing skills
Superior research, analytical and project management skills
Knowledge in corporate tax

Proficiency in Microsoft applications
