Job Description / Requirements
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Preparation and filing of BIR returns – monthly, quarterly and annually for Atlas and its subsidiaries (AEI, AI and AHI) including required attachments.
2. Review of application for administrative claims for VAT refund, in-charge of BIR queries and monitoring of claims until final decision. Preparation of documentary requirements for external counsel and ICPA in case of judicial claims. Monitor utilization of claimed tax credit certificate.
3. In Charge of assessment, queries and reconciliation of Tax related items.
4. Assist in renewal and securing permits from local government units.
5. Preparation of CWT certificates for MHO transactions (Atlas and CCC); Monitor filing and payment of CCC’s tax documents and returns; Provide schedules and supporting documents for year-end audit; and coordinate submission of BIR, BOI and BOC regulatory requirements.
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Experience:
With at least 3 to 4 years previous experience in a similar role/industry.
Skills:
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Must have knowledge in BIR and BOI rulings and regulations, deadlines and reporting requirements.
Familiar with Local Government Unit compliance and reporting requirements.
With exposure in a computerized accounting system, preferably SAP
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Organized and able to meet deadlines.
Must be analytical and resourceful.
