Job Description / Requirements
Brief Description:
– Responsible for maximizing Hotel profitability and customer satisfaction and by effectively handling and coordinating the Hotel’s selling of rooms.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
1. Meets and exceeds customers and team members’ expectations
– Provides value added service to costumers by doing whatever reasonable and possible to meet or exceed customer expectations.
2. Business Solicitation
– Develops new accounts and additional business.
3. Liaison with existing accounts
– Ensures existing accounts are satisfied and keeps aware of their planning.
– Ensures all arrangements are in order prior to the visits of VIP’s.
4. Market Information Research
– Obtains marketing information, comments, and leads from clients and competitors.
5. Sales Promotion
– Attends local and overseas trade shows.
6. Maintenance of accounts files
– Completes daily sales call reports.
– Updates cardex system on daily sales.
7. Communication
– Works closely with internal departments, business partners and Country Director of Sales and Marketing.
8. Teamwork
– Enhances teamwork amongst colleagues for effective performance.
9. General Responsibilities
– Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
Qualifications:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Hospitality/Tourism/hotel Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent;
2. With at least 2 to 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
3. Experience in handling resorts/hotels in Palawan is an advantage;
4. Applicant must be willing to work in Legaspi Village Makati City.
