Project Coordinator – Quezon City – Merit Stainless Steel Inc

Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator shall support the Project-In-Charge by maintaining document control and database management while tracking project activities and coordinating team communications to ensure project goals are accomplished within the time frame.

Major Functions:
Maintain document control, track project activities and team communications;
Maintain project files or binders;
Coordinate accurate, up-to-date reporting of project status, scheduling, and planning;
Attend weekly deployment meetings;
Know project status at all times;
Know project inventory status at all times;
Interface with accounting department regarding client and subcontractor purchase orders and invoicing;
Track delivery receipt and issuance of purchase orders;
Work with project manager to produce monthly milestone and Progress Billing.

Knowledge and Abilities:
Specific construction project coordination experience preferred;
Expert in all aspects of Microsoft Office – especially Excel;
Ability to maintain confidentiality;
Comfortable in self-directed environment;
Ability to read and interpret documents;
Ability to write coherent and succinct status/progress reports;
Strong organizational and communication skills;
Detail oriented, able to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines;
Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills;
Ability to maintain organized and accurate project records/files;
Ability to operate in a dynamic and changing environment;
Willingness to travel as required.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree ,any Engineering Course or equivalent;
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
