Job Description & Requirements
Editing, and as needed, writing, a variety of online content, which may include core website content, meta tags, articles, press releases, company updates, promotions, blogs and other content types.
• Edits content for spelling, grammar, sentence structure, word usage, voice and style consistency, clarity and coherence
• Reviews Content Intake Forms and other similar materials to ensure output meets client-specific requirements
• Facilitates sending of campaign-related queries to resellers/end-clients in coordination with the Content Workflow Team
• Proactively assists the Content Quality Assurance Lead and the Content Training Lead in Writer mentoring and training, metrics analysis and database maintenance. Specific responsibilities include:
o Providing feedback for use in coaching and training Writers
o Developing training materials
o Contributing towards performance assessments of Writers based on identified parameters/metrics specific to the assignments given to them
o Tracking performance improvement
o Conducting regular evaluations of sub-team members
• Adheres to documented processes and best practices
• Recommends improvements to workflow and other department processes
• Writes content for campaigns and special projects, as needed
Requirements
• At least College Level
• Editorial experience
• University degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Writing, or Literature, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of related experience
• 1+ years of related experience working with content intended for a US audience
• Experience working with U.S.- based companies or onsite in the United States is an advantage
Industry exposure SEO industry, marketing, publishing and other related industries
