WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE?
You possess a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy and a Certified Public Accountant, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam)
Have at least 5 years Accounting experience with exposure to Australian Taxation requirements (BAS/IAS/FBT/Income taxes) viewed favorably
Experience with Xero (cloud) accounting system is highly desirable.

WHAT YOU WILL DO?
ACCOUNTING
Monthly reporting of Group accounts
Relevant journal preparation
Group Profit and Loss preparation and review
Balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
Maintain trial balance integrity for 4 small entities including basic consolidating loan reconciliations
Prepare, check and post prepayment and accrual journals to reflect performance
Update and reconcile fixed asset register, record depreciation, write-offs and gain/loss on disposal
Prepare and post all journals and accruals necessary for reporting accurate payroll expenses.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Assist with daily and monthly cash flow management
General assistance with Accounts Receivable and Payable shall be required from time-to-time to assist the finance team.
Ad-hoc work as required by the Financial Controller

COMPLIANCE
Prepare quarterly Business Activity Statement (2 Entities)
Preparing monthly IAS (1 entity)
Joint responsibility to prepare annual FBT return
Prepare monthly payroll tax return and compile annual workcover returns
Assist with preparation of annual tax returns
