Job Description:
The Aussie 2nd office staff member would be asked to manage many “back-room” website tasks and support functions as outlined below. Works directly with the Australian office as first line and with owner of client companies content. Like all of their team – The client would look for someone with great passion, intelligence and a delightful positive personality. A service specialist that is tech-savvy
Shift: 7am-4pm Philippine time
** Must be available for cross shift training for the first 1-2 months from 10am-7pm Philippine time. Actual time may vary.
The first 4 weeks receive training and spend learning everything they can about our product range, technologies (like Funnelweb system) , features (like SmartVent and fabric specifications) and company processes (deliveries, stock, procedures) so they know the product back-to-front and within a month or so may speak like an expert about our products,
brand & benefits. No “live” work with customers to commence until we are comfortable this is achieved.
Qualifications:
• College degree in any field (business, marketing, communications, interior design preferred, but not required)
• Customer service, eCommerce, or marketing experience is a plus
Job Duties:
• Constant site research (product features, pricing, specifications, related products, etc.) so that all site listings and pages are complete, loading and accurate
• Arranging new product listings into categories and sub-categories, SKU and taxonomy development
• Well-researched and SEO rich product description and review sourcing and writing
• Creating a well organized and complete dropbox folder of our images and marketing materials (high res and low res)
• Product image editing and optimization (resizing images, regular and zoom view) to our 1500 * 1500 size (work with our editors Sharif and a dropbox folder)
• Regularly updating products, stock and product details for price and availability
• eCommerce back-office services like online chat live support, email support, order tracking, etc. to support Marguerite and Australian team. Written communication only.
• Multichannel eCommerce management services for creating and optimizing product data feeds for marketplaces and comparison shopping engines.
• Creation and Management of content for client companies twitter, Google + & Pinterest with targets for Australian fans and meaningful activity.
• Management of clients twitter and Pinterest with targets for Australian fans and meaningful activity.
• Australian Competitor research – including analytics and advice of partner competitiors
• Email database management and marketing
• Google Analytics monthly reviews on our sites with suggestion for us for e-commerce improvements and increasing relevant traffic
• Managing one all-encompasing eBay store. Same with the new Australian Amazon account.
• Managing our content writers to see that weekly blogs that are excellent content and SEO friendly are uploaded to each site
Web site tasks:
• Constant site research (product features, hiring terms and conditions, FAQ’s, pricing, specifications etc.) so that all site listings and pages are complete, loading and accurate
• Well-researched and SEO rich product description and review sourcing and writing (work with the clients other Philippine based content writer)
• Site back-office services like online chat live support, email support, order tracking, etc. to support Australian team
• Inform and Assist with Aussie office team to help the beanbag hire logistics and troubleshooting (I.e. liase with truck drivers, customers, storage). Written communication only. Major troubleshooting tobe handled by Australian team
• Creation and Management of content for Facebook, twitter, Google + & Pinterest with targets for Australian fans and meaningful target activity. Understanding our audience is corporate and events managers
