ZigZag Media is looking for the most talented Debt Collection Representative to join our team!

You will be responsible for ensuring that accounts are collected in an efficient and timely manner, in accordance with all corporate policies and procedures, whilst consistently meeting set targets in order to achieve individual and team objectives.

You are a passionate and driven individual who enjoys working in a fast paced collaborative environment. You can work independently when required and enjoy contributing new ideas and challenging the status quo. You are not afraid of change and enjoy taking on new challenges.

InDebted is a venture backed financial technology startup focused on improving debt collection. Behind our amazing staff and licensed collection agents is a state-of- the-art technology platform. From the ground up we have developed innovative systems to collect more debts, in less time, whilst ensuring that all parties are treated fairly and with respect.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicate with customers through a range of mediums such as email, SMS, calls and social media.
Work with customers by listening to and overcoming objections while identifying and providing a range of ethical and appropriate solutions.
Achieve set collection targets and other operational goals.
Ensure thorough file maintenance through detailed note keeping, up to date contact information and workflow management.
Comply with all relevant regulations as well as company policies and procedures.

REQUIRED QUIALIFICATIONS:
Ability to accurately define the appropriate course of action for each account taking into consideration the customer’s circumstances, company requirements and expectations.
Excellent negotiation and recovery skills.
Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Complete knowledge of all relevant regulations including the ACCC Debt Collection Guidelines.
At least 1 year of solid collections experience, ideally within a collection agency working across both commercial and consumer accounts.
