Job Description / Requirements
Currently, Vinland International is seeking a highly motivated Accounting Manager to join their team in Manila, Philippines.
In this role, you will need to be highly organized and competent in accounting and human resource duties. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Accounts payable activities, including checking, coding and posting manual invoices and all payables on a daily basis, reconciling A/P, and making quick cheques for A/P vendors;
Purchase orders, reconcile banking;
Prepare assigned year-end working papers, and run and check month-end reports;
Collect and input financial statement stat data and forecasts;
Oversee activities of office staff, act as liaison between accounting and other department personnel, allocate workload & develop staff motivation and attitude improvement programs;
Assist other managers with any accounting issues as they arise;
Create reports and summaries of various accounts as necessary, payroll backup, and receivable follow-ups;
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a college or university education in administration and/or business coupled with a solid understanding of accounting and administrative management. Related experience (minimum 3 years) is essential, preferably within a food manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of computer software programs (especially Microsoft Excel) and solid analytical skills are essential.
